Students celebrated the Gratitude Day at the Foreign Philology and Translation Department on March 1, 2019. On the Gratitude Day, the charity event “Do Good!” was held, aimed at providing philanthropic assistance to the children living in orphanages, as well as a class meeting. The students of the faculty were taking an active part in the event, collecting books, clothes, stationery and toys to please the children. The event participants expressed their gratitude to parents, teachers, friends in several languages, issued wall newspapers, expressing gratitude to all who had contributed to their achievements.
In conclusion, songs, wishes of tolerance, friendliness and respect for each other were heard. The event had truly become a day of friendship, cohesion and cultural diversity.
