By specialty 5B071200 – “Mechanical engineering” training is conducted since 2004 in Kazakh and Russian languages. Terms of training for full-time 4 years – on the basis of the CCA, absentee – 3 years on the basis of TPE and at least 2 years on the basis of VO. The first issue of full-time education took place in 2008.
In 2013, reissued specialty license in accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan №13013970, date of issue August 28, 2013.
Speciality 5B071200 “Mechanical engineering” in 2015, is accredited by the independent Kazakh Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA) – Institutional Accreditation number AA0008 by 10/10/2015.
2-4 December 2014 University successfully passed the recertification audit of the quality management system. International Certificate №12 100 49381 TMS compliance with ISO 9001-2008 Quality Management System of the University with the international standard issued by the German certification body company TÜV SÜD Management Service GmbH for up to 13 January 2018.
The contingent of students majoring in the 2015-2016 academic year was 138 people, of which 105 – the grant of MES, 33 students are enrolled on a contractual basis. At the time of certification of the contingent of graduate students accounted for 42 people, of whom 36 are studying full-time.
After graduation, the graduate is awarded the academic degree of Bachelor of engineering and technology in specialty 5B071200 – “Mechanical engineering”.

In the 2015-2016 year: in the specialty 6M071200 – “Mechanical engineering” – trained 10 graduate students, including 4 of a student in the national language.

Educational laboratories are equipped with existing industrial installations. In lectures and laboratory classes, the following technical training: computers, video projector with screen, to determine the micro and macrostructure of metal alloys used microscopes and others.
