Teacher’s Day in Kazakhstan is traditionally celebrated on the first Sunday of October. Prior to the remarkable date, students of all ages wonder how to congratulate teachers on their professional holiday. Sincere words from the grateful students have been and remain the best gift for teachers at all times. The teachers are not just persons who give knowledge; they also are carriers of spirituality and moral principles.

This grand celebration did not go without an official part organized by the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation.

Thus, a concert dedicated to the Teacher’s Day was held in the Shakarim State University on October 5, 2018, which brought together teachers and future teachers (students) to congratulate their tutors on the important holiday. The festive concert was performed by the students of the specialties “Two foreign languages” and “Translation studies”.

The event began with students’ performing various songs in the Kazakh, Russian and English languages.

The students also showed some unusual oriental dances.

However, the main performances of the concert continued to the sounds of the guitar of University’s young creative guys, who showed such beautiful melodies of songs that made this bright event unforgettable.

At the end of the concert, the students organized a joint group dance, and also heartily congratulated their dear teachers:
