With the aim of fostering environmental awareness and contributing to a greener future, Shakarim University organized the “Green Transportation Initiatives” campaign.

The purpose of the event is to implement a one-day initiative under the framework of the national “Clean Kazakhstan” campaign, encouraging university staff and students to contribute to environmental protection and reduce harmful emissions.

Today, environmental safety is one of the key global challenges. Air pollution, excessive carbon dioxide emissions, and vehicle exhaust gases negatively impact both the environment and human health. Therefore, the development of alternative and eco-friendly modes of transportation is becoming increasingly relevant.

Shakarim University actively supports “green” initiatives in its efforts to ensure environmental sustainability. The institution is gradually implementing the “Green University” concept. A clear example of this is the promotion of bicycle culture within the campus.

One of the university’s main goals is to adopt safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly transportation solutions. In this regard, the bicycle has become an eco-conscious choice for university employees.
