Senior lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages, PhD Zhuldyz Nurlanqyzy Abisheva has won a grant for the "Multi-modal and digital language teaching competencies in the English Language Classroom" program, organized by the U.S. Department of State. This grant provides her with the opportunity to participate in an English language teaching course in the United States and engage in professional exchange.
As part of the program, Zhuldyz Nurlanqyzy will take part in a two-week training session at the University of Nevada in Reno, focusing on enhancing media and information literacy in English language teaching. Additionally, she will attend the annual TESOL International Convention, which will be held in Long Beach, California, from March 18-21, 2025.
The "Multi-modal and digital language teaching competencies in the English Language Classroom" program is a unique opportunity for educators from around the world to exchange experiences and develop their professional skills.
All expenses for the trip will be fully covered by the grant provided by the U.S. Department of State.
