Shakarim University students will have unique opportunities for education and scientific research at one of the leading agricultural universities in the People's Republic of China.

Shakarim University is strengthening international cooperation by expanding the boundaries of education and science. As part of the strategic initiative of the President of Kazakhstan to develop cooperation with the People's Republic of China in the field of science and higher education, a Memorandum of Partnership was signed today, on March 24, between Shakarim University and Northwest A&F University (NWAFU, PRC).

During the signing of the document, Northwest A&F University (PRC) was represented by Rector Wu Pute, Vice-Rector Ma Chuang, Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange Wang Xiaolong, Dean of the College of Agronomy Li Xuejun, Dean of the College of Animal Science and Technology Jiang Yu, Dean of the College of Landscape Architecture and Arts Gao Tian, as well as Deputy Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange Zou Yufeng. The delegation from Shakarim University included Rector Duman Orynbekov, Vice-Rector for Internationalization and Innovation Yerasyl Dulatbay, Coordinator of the Research Organization Center Yernaz Yermekov, and Head of the Dual Degree Program in Animal Science Gulim Kamzina.
