SHAKARIM UNIVERSITY OPEN DAY: 600 SCHOOL GRADUATES TOOK PART

Shakarim University has launched a set of events "Open day of Shakarim University" in order to eliminate the shortage of personnel in the region, train qualified specialists and focus on choosing a profession. University teachers told about the professions in demand to about 600 students of schools in the Abai region.
During the meeting with graduates, the rector of the University Duman Orynbekov presented the main objectives of the event and explained in detail the importance of choosing a profession.
"Often we dream of going abroad, to big cities. Probably, this is also correct, but, nevertheless, getting an education in your region, serving your native land is a great happiness and duty! I invite you to realize your dream together with Shakarim University," said the head of the university.The open day was attended by the head of the National Testing Center Ruslan Emelbayev, deputy director of the NCT Gaziz Dosmukhambetov, graduates of schools in the Abai region, teachers and career guidance specialists. Ruslan Emelbayev conducted information and explanatory work on the topic of changes and innovations in testing, requirements for them, as well as the threshold level of points.
In addition, more than 70 career guidance specialists were held a training seminar on the organization of career guidance at school.
"Open day of Shakarim University" is a continuation of the complex project "Shakarim kerueni". Since last year, the university delegation has visited all districts of the Abai region, where it met with more than 3,000 graduates. 42 winners of various competitions, graduates with disabilities, people from single-parent families, graduates left without parental care were awarded "Shakarim Grants".
During the "Open Day" a concert program of university students was presented, creative platforms were organized and achievements of all faculties were demonstrated. At the same time, it was today that the winners of the "One Day at the University" campaign were awarded.
