The student scientific circle «Archaeologist and paleographer» of Shakarim University is aimed at deepening students' understanding of the sciences of archeology and paleography, as well as increasing their desire to learn about the monuments and artifacts of the region, about the written heritage.

At meetings and classes, the history of the study of archaeological monuments of East Kazakhstan is considered, the data of studies conducted in the region in recent years are analyzed. The ways of studying and preserving the paleographic written heritage are considered.
