- Development of a strategy for the development of the University 's project activities;
- expansion of international scientific and technical cooperation.
- organization and assistance to scientists and teaching staff of the university in conducting fundamental and applied scientific research on topical issues of natural, agricultural, technical, social, humanitarian and pedagogical sciences;
- timely informing scientists and teaching staff about the holding of competitions of scientific projects on grant scientific and (or) scientific and technical programs;
- search for budgetary and extra-budgetary financing of science;
- monitoring of the implementation of scientific projects under grant programs of various organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- Issuing orders approving the composition of the Shakarim University Research Group.
- Couriering of acts, reports, official and cover letters on research works of Shakarim University.
- Conducting business meetings, conferences, symposiums, round tables, foresight sessions and other events within the framework of scientific activities.
