On May 16, the XV regional olympiad dedicated to T.Ы. Amanov, a corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of the KazSSR, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, and Professor, concluded at Shakarim University.
The olympiad among schoolchildren was opened by the Dean of the School of Physics and Mathematics Sciences, PhD Mақсатбек Satymbekov, who outlined the objectives of the event and emphasized its importance. Next, the Vice-Rector for Strategy and Social Development, Askar Kasimov, addressed the participants, wishing them courage, a thirst for knowledge, and perseverance on their path to victory.
Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Professor Gulnaz Berikhanova shared photographs from historical videos in her topic The Life of the Great Mathematician of the Great Steppe, Toleubay Amanov, honoring the memory of the outstanding scientist and highlighting his great deeds.
During the olympiad, the mentors dedicated their time to gaining new knowledge by participating in a seminar-trainingsession titled Features of the Methodology for Solving Competitive and Olympiad Problems, led by the Director of the Pedagogical Research Center, Candidate of Physics and Mathematics, Professor Oralty Jolyimbayev. They enhanced their qualifications, addressed lingering questions, and exchanged views.
