Republican State Institution Military Unit 68303 Of The Ministry Of Emergency Situations Of The Republic Of Kazakhstan and Shakarim University signed a memorandum of mutual cooperation. The cooperation will allow the introduction of modern methods of training and scientific work in the psychological field related to public service. To date, the University's Psychology Department intends to establish a closer relationship with this institution.

The main purpose of the memorandum is psychodiagnostics of individual and group peculiarities of personnel, research of group processes in departments. As well as establishing a long-term relationship for the psychological prevention of suicidal intent that meets the requirements and characteristics of the institution's work environment. This partnership aims to create programs and activities to keep military personnel safe and support their psychological health.This includes medical services, such as early diagnosis of psychological conditions, prevention of suicidal intentions and training in effective self-regulation techniques.

Both parties expressed mutual interest in the development of bilateral cooperation as well as the realization of intellectual potential in the educational and scientific spheres. According to the memorandum, the two institutes will conduct joint research, dual training, professional development courses and graduate placement activities.
