Today, Shakarim University launched the "Healthy Lifestyle" Spartakiad among students.
This annual traditional event brings together students from the university’s Research and Higher Schools, as well as students from Shakarim Higher College. Participants will compete in futsal, volleyball, streetball, table tennis, chess, kettlebell lifting, arm wrestling, togyzkumalak, tug-of-war, and archery.
Opening the sports competition, Vice-Rector for Strategy and Social Development, Askar Kasymov, wished the students success in the tournament.
He emphasized the importance of a healthy lifestyle for young people, noting that sports are essential not only for physical well-being but also for spiritual and intellectual development. He also highlighted that such competitions foster team spirit, student engagement, and strengthen social connections.
These sporting events play a crucial role in enhancing the university’s sports culture and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
