Shakarim University, in collaboration with the Department of Ecology of the Abai Region and the public association "Polygon 21," organized the ecological event Ecological Brainstorming.

The event, held at the "ZhasStar" coworking center, was opened by the university's rector, Duman Orynbekov, who wished success to the young scientists participating. During the ecological event, important issues affecting regional development and environmental safety were discussed.

The Ecological Brainstorming, conducted in a team format, addressed several key topics: the development of agriculture, the preservation and restoration of forested areas in the region, reducing the impact of the former nuclear test site on public health, the ecology of the Irtysh River, and the prevention of environmental harm by developing effective mitigation strategies. The participants also explored the conservation of local flora and fauna, as well as the development and implementation of new ecological technologies in the agricultural and industrial sectors.

The event was attended by Asel Bolatbekova, head of the environmental regulation department of the Abai Region Department of Ecology, and Mayra Abenova, executive director of the public association "Polygon 21." They highly praised the teamwork of Shakarim University's young scientists, who actively shared their ideas on large-scale environmental issues.
