Today, representatives of the delegation headed by Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Quality Assurance in the field of education of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Maira Meldebekova visited Shakarim University on a working visit.
During the visit, the delegation got acquainted with the material and technical base of the Shakarim High School, which was opened at the university.
Shakarim High School for grades 10-11 began its activities in accordance with the instruction of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K. K. Tokayev to open schools in universities with in-depth study of IT and languages. Shakarim High School's activities are aimed at supporting gifted students, IT, language and teacher education.
At the event, representatives spoke about the establishment of integration between the "school-college-university", improving the quality of national education, etc. From an early age, high school students are given the opportunity to feel comfortable among students, get to know the student environment and participate in academic life. This contributes to a deeper understanding of the chosen field and preparation for a future profession.
For reference: the high school began the 2023-2024 academic year with 6 grades and 144 students. Of these, 4 are Kazakh, 2 are Russian classes. The school pays special attention to the study of languages and the development of information technology. Students participate in lectures and practical work by foreign teachers. Currently, students study Turkish, Korean and English. This aspect gives the educational process an international character and prepares students for successful integration into the global educational space.
Shakarim High School is a unique opportunity for high school students in the region to enrich their educational experience and prepare for a successful future!
