From May 15 to 17, 2024, the IX International Student Olympiad in Geodesy (Novosibirsk, Russia) was held at the Novosibirsk Expocentre International Exhibition Complex. The organizer of the Olympiad is the Siberian State University of Geosystems and Technologies.
17 teams from leading universities in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Omsk, Tyumen, Novosibirsk, Karaganda and Semey participated.
According to the results of all stages, students of the Department OF GEODESY AND CARTOGRAPHY of Shakarim University took the III TEAM PLACE in the competitive test "Absolute winner".
Also, the students became winners in the following nominations:
Diploma of the first degree – "Orientation of the electronic total station",
Diploma of the II degree – "Brain Ring",
Diploma of the II degree – "Centering",
Diploma of the III degree – "Putting the point in nature".
