In a significant development for international cooperation, a delegation led by Urankhaev N., the Akim of the Abai region, visited Kazan in December 2023 to foster trade, economic, scientific, technical, cultural, and humanitarian ties between the Republic of Tatarstan and the Abai region.

This visit culminated in the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Kazan Federal University and Shakarim University during the Second Forum of Rectors of Universities of Kazakhstan and Russia themed “Current Trends in Higher Education and Science”. 

The memorandum aims to enhance international cooperation and forge stronger bonds between the two universities, facilitating the exchange of knowledge, scientific research, and educational programs.

Such agreements contribute to expanding horizons and enriching the educational environment, as well as contribute to strengthening friendly ties between our countries.
